Experts are confident that the property market will remain buoyant in 2017. Across Europe real-estate markets remain stable and property continues to be regarded as a safe asset despite political, economic, demographic, technological and disruptive factors which are impacting negatively on the recovery and confidence. Rental apartment buildings will continue to do well this year, as will micro apartments. Up market student apartments are now an established and significant asset class. This was the advice from the experts at the world’s third-largest commercial property services company Colliers International at the leading real estate exhibition MIPIM in Cannes, which has just taken place.
